Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist for the Sleep Center at Hickman Hospital in Wisconsin. This position involves comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including PSG, CPAP/Bi-level titrations, and patient education.

The role supports a 24-hour weekly schedule with a nights shift pattern. The ideal candidate holds a RPSGT credential, BLS, and at least 12 months of sleep study experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 12 months experience in Polysomnography.
• RPSGT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Enrollment to obtain a sleep credential if not yet certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care to patients across age groups.
• Perform routine, non-routine, and complex sleep studies (PSG) and CPAP/Bi-level titrations.
• Follow policies, procedures, and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Initiate emergency care when needed and maintain BCLS; pursue CEUs annually.
