Job summary

ProMedica Health System is seeking a Polysomn Care Assistant for the Sleep Center. You will assemble, operate, and troubleshoot therapeutic and diagnostic equipment for patients across ages, including devices for sleep study recordings with EKG, POX, and EEG.

You will educate patients on disease-specific care and home equipment. You will perform duties under the Sleep Center leadership team, adhering to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• If not Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, evidence of enrollment to obtain sleep credential is needed.
• Must obtain sleep credential within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, operate and troubleshoot therapeutic and diagnostic sleep equipment for patients of all ages, including Sleep System with EKG, POX and EEG.
• Provide patient education on disease-specific processes and home care equipment.
• Work under the Sleep Center leadership team and follow hospital policies and procedures.
