Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking a part-time polysomnographic technologist to perform, analyze, and score sleep studies at our Weymouth, MA lab. You will monitor patients overnight, apply sensors, and report findings to physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications include an Allied Health degree (Associate’s preferred), at least two years in polysomnography, and BLS certification, with various sleep tech registrations encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved/accredited Allied Health program; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience as a polysomnographic technologist.
• Licenses/Registrations: RST or RPSGT or ST Eligible; ABSM or BRPT or Sleep Tech Registry Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic studies and analyze data.
• Score polysomnograms and compile reports for physician review.
• Perform multiple sleep latency tests.
• Administer sleep questionnaires to obtain history/assessment.
• Apply electrodes and sensors; ensure they remain in place.
• Monitor patient overnight and observe for abnormalities.
• Document sleep, respiratory and cardiac patterns; manage safety.
