Job summary

Wayfair is seeking a Mattress Sales Professional in Yonkers, NY. You will help customers discover better sleep through expert guidance, product knowledge, and a best-in-class shopping experience focused on mattresses, bedding, and bedroom furniture.

Reporting to the Retail Sales team, you will engage customers, meet sales targets, and continuously learn about products and promotions while collaborating with store functions to support a seamless customer journey.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in fast-paced, customer-facing sales.
• Consultative approach to identifying customer needs.
• Ability to meet/exceed sales targets in a metrics-driven environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new products and promotions.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in conversations to recommend sleep solutions.
• Meet/exceed SPH goal of $400 and revenue targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Build deep knowledge of mattresses, bedding, beds, and bedroom furniture.
• Participate in ongoing product and sales training.
• Share ideas to improve customer experiences and team effectiveness.
• Cross-train across store functions to support customers and store needs.
