The Nurse Clinician provides nursing assessments, direct patient care, and collaboration with healthcare teams, while ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Illinois is required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Recent nursing experience within past five years or new nursing graduate within past two years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with OSHA.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document in the medical record.
• Provide routine nursing duties including phlebotomy, meds administration, vital signs, and lab prep.
• Handle complex procedures and coordinate care with physicians and staff.
• Triage calls and manage emergencies per policies and protocols.
• Educate patients and families; participate in community education as requested.
