Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Nurse Clinician for the Neurology clinic at Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest, IL. This part-time role requires 20 hours per week with a Monday and Thursday schedule from 7:00am to 5:30pm.

The Nurse Clinician will perform patient assessments, administer medications, and educate patients, utilizing strong nursing skills within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Proven nursing skills including assessments and care planning.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and administer medications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings.
• Provide routine nursing duties including phlebotomy and medication administration.
• Coordinate with physicians and other departments to plan patient care.
• Triage calls and educate patients as needed.
