SuperCare Health is seeking a Respiratory Support Specialist for Sleep & PAP Services in San Diego. The role involves coordinating PAP equipment setups, educating patients, and ensuring compliant documentation and insurance processes.

You will work with patients, referral sources, clinicians, and payer partners to deliver timely service. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of healthcare admin or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid

Formación

• Minimum one year of customer service or healthcare admin experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines.
• Experience in a healthcare environment that bills insurance.
• Bilingual skills preferred based on branch needs.
• Completion of a state-approved training program covering state and federal laws on device handling and terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate PAP equipment set-up appointments and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Provide instruction and education to patients regarding PAP equipment usage and maintenance.
• Explain patient financial responsibility, insurance coverage, copayments, and payment options.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while responding to patient inquiries and follow-up needs.
• Monitor PAP patient compliance and encourage therapy adherence and successful outcomes.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, caregivers, physicians, and referral sources.
• Accurately enter and maintain patient information, authorizations, payer requirements, and compliance documentation in company databases.
