Job summary

AdaptHealth PAP Specialist role focuses on accurate data entry, inventory, and referral coordination to ensure patients receive PAP equipment. You will schedule pickups, provide usage instructions, and explain financial responsibilities while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Additionally, you will prepare and submit audit paperwork for Medicare and other insurance claims, monitor PAP device clients, and collaborate with branches, physicians, and support staff to improve operations and service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year healthcare admin/insurance customer service experience.
• 2+ years for senior level, with 1 year in Medicare-certified HME/diabetic/pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of current HME products and applicable insurance guidelines.
• Enter data accurately into payer databases, including authorization requirements and coverage status.
• Collaborate with branches and teams to accomplish goals.
• Schedule pickup appointments, provide usage instructions, and explain financial responsibilities.
• Prepare and submit audit paperwork for Medicare and other insurance claims; respond to audits.
