Mountain Sleep in Asheville, NC seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to manage and coordinate sleep medicine care for patients aged 8 and up. You will assess sleep disorders, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with specialists to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• PA or NP licensure.
• Sleep medicine experience preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills required.
• Willingness to collaborate with specialists (ENT, pulmonology, cardiology, psychology).

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate care for patients aged 8 years and older with sleep disorders.
• Assess and examine patients with suspected or known sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, and related conditions.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans according to medical necessity and insurance requirements.
• Coordinate referrals to ENT, pulmonology, cardiology, dentistry, and psychology.
• Collaborate with DME providers to ensure timely equipment acquisition.
• Work Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–6:00pm; sleep medicine focus preferred but not required.
