Job summary

Pinehurst Medical Clinic is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (FNP or PMHNP) to join its pulmonary and sleep medicine care team in the Sanford, NC area. The role focuses on outpatient sleep medicine with an emphasis on insomnia for adults, and operates within a larger team of MDs and APPs.

New grads are welcome to apply; the position involves an outpatient clinic and an onsite sleep lab, with collaboration with one pulmonologist and a nurse, and a standard M–F 8–5 schedule.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certification accepted (FNP/PMHNP).
• New grads welcome to apply.
• Ability to practice independently in collaboration with supervising physician.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient sleep medicine care, with a focus in insomnia, to adult population.
• Outpatient clinic and sleep lab responsibilities.
• Work closely with one pulmonologist and a nurse.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-5.
• Onsite sleep lab.
• CT, X-ray, pulmonary function, and lab services in adjacent main building.
