Job summary

Forward Health LLC in Maryland is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner specialized in sleep medicine to evaluate, diagnose, and manage sleep disorders. You will collaborate with physicians and sleep technologists to deliver patient-centered care and evidence-based treatment plans.

The role requires an active NP license in MD/VA/DC, strong clinical assessment, and excellent communication skills to support patients across the sleep medicine continuum.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in MD, VA, and DC.
• Experience in sleep medicine is preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to patient-first healthcare and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical exams.
• Interpret sleep studies, including polysomnography and home sleep apnea tests.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
• Manage medications, educate patients on sleep hygiene, and oversee ongoing care.
• Coordinate follow-up visits, adjust treatments, and ensure thorough documentation.
• Advocate for patients by providing empathetic, high-quality care throughout their treatment journey.
