Job summary

Forward Health LLC in Chevy Chase, MD is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in sleep medicine to join our Center for Sleep and Wake Disorders. In this full-time role, you’ll evaluate, diagnose, and manage sleep disorders in collaboration with physicians and a supportive care team to help patients achieve better rest and well-being.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in MD, VA, and DC.
• Experience in sleep medicine preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical exams.
• Interpret sleep studies, including polysomnography and home sleep apnea tests.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
• Manage medications, educate patients on sleep hygiene, and oversee ongoing care.
• Coordinate follow-up visits, adjust treatments, and ensure thorough documentation.
• Advocate for patients by providing empathetic, high-quality care throughout their treatment journey.
