Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the sleep disorders team. You will prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, review medications and allergies, and document chief complaints in a patient-centered environment.

The role supports collaboration with nurses, physicians, and researchers, with a focus on quality care, wellness education, and continuity across adult and pediatric sleep services.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program required.
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• LPN licensure acceptable with MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and obtain vital signs.
• Review medications and allergies and document chief complaints.
• Provide patient-family centered care in a compassionate setting.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and patient education.
