UW Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) for Internal Medicine to join our team that handles acute and chronic illnesses, gynecological care, and urgent care for adults. You will prepare patients, take vitals, and assist with procedures and exams.

We offer a supportive, patient-family centered environment with a focus on wellness, education, and high-quality care. Flexible schedules and a 90% FTE day-shift option are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent licensure.
• LPN licensure upon hire.
• Completion of UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or Employee Partner MA Program or CCMA certification.
• CCMA certification as a UWH employee or acceptance into UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated.
• One year of MA experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and document patient needs and concerns.
• Assist with clinic procedures and exams.
