Job summary

SMG System Medical Group in Wheeling, West Virginia, seeks an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as a key member of the interdisciplinary pulmonary/sleep medicine team. The APP will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage adult patients within their scope of practice and specialty, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians.

The position is outpatient, Monday through Friday, with weekends and holidays off.

Qualifications

• Education and certification requirements for NP/PA roles as described in the posting.
• Licensure eligibility in West Virginia and related certifications.
• Clinical credentials including BLS and ALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive patient care for pulmonary/sleep medicine patients in ambulatory setting.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses and staff to provide evidence-based care.
• Performs assessments, documentation and coordination for follow-up and referrals.

Master’s Degree in Nursing

National Certification by APRN Certification Center

Licensure as RN and APRN in West Virginia

BLS Certification

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree for PA

ARC-PA accredited PA program
