Job summary

SMG System Medical Group in Wheeling, WV seeks an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to provide patient‑centered care in pulmonary and sleep medicine. The role includes coordinating multidisciplinary teams, performing diagnostic procedures, and guiding discharge planning for outpatient and hospital patients.

The position offers a Monday–Friday outpatient schedule with weekends and holidays off, and involves collaboration with WVU Health System.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE-accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by a recognized APRN Certification Center.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as RN and APRN in West Virginia.
• BLS Certification with possible ALS training.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced practice care for pulmonary/sleep medicine patients.
• Coordinate involvement of medical specialty teams for comprehensive patient plans.
• Perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and assist in discharge planning.
