Job summary

Mmhealth in Indiana is seeking a qualified sleep technologist to perform polysomnography for adult outpatients. You will operate diagnostic equipment, calibrate signals, and ensure patient safety during sleep studies. This role requires BRPT credentials and familiarity with EHR documentation.

You will participate in CPAP/Bi-level titration, maintain equipment, and generate clear reports for physicians. A supportive sleep lab team and ongoing education are provided.

Qualifications

  • Collect and analyze patient information to meet individual needs.
  • Explain testing procedures to patients and answer questions.
  • Operate and calibrate polysomnography equipment safely.
  • Score sleep studies and generate accurate reports.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and BRPT conduct standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, & integrate patient information to identify & meet patient-specific needs.
  • Assess physical/mental status regarding the testing process.
  • Explain the testing to the patient and answer questions.
  • Determine final testing procedures with physician orders & lab protocols.
  • Review sleep study orders for any special instructions.
  • Complete & verify documentation in the EHR.
  • Explain pre- and post-testing procedures to patient.
  • Score sleep events according to guidelines.
  • Score and report sleep study data accurately.
  • Monitor signals and troubleshoot equipment to ensure artifact-free data.
  • Maintain BRPT standards of conduct and continuing education.
  • Attend department meetings and participate in process improvements.
