Job summary

Qualifications

• Sleep technologist credentials and related training are assumed for role.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for overnight, daytime, and home sleep studies.
• Obtains and documents patient medical history and sleep-related symptoms.
• Recognizes and responds to patient emergencies.
• Performs PSG, CPAP/BiPAP titration studies, MSLT, HST, pediatric sleep studies.
• Applies EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG sensors per AASM guidelines.
• Troubleshoots equipment and signal quality during studies.
• Monitors data and documents abnormal events.
• Initiates CPAP/BiPAP therapy per orders and scores sleep studies.
