Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred associates degree
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up equipment for sleep tests
• Interview patients to determine sleep disorder issues and explain procedures
• Perform PSG, MSLT, titrations for CPAP and MWT and other sleep studies
• Score, interpret, and report sleep study results
• Educate patients about test results and available resources
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and supplies
• Identify repairs and replacements and ensure patient safety protocols
