Job summary

UNC Lenoir Health Care in Lenoir, NC seeks a polysomnography technician to provide diagnostic sleep testing and education. You will deliver PSG services, apply sensors per AASM standards, and support patient-centered care within the sleep services department.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited polysomnography program with emphasis in sleep technology.
• At least one year of sleep technology experience preferred.
• Active BCLS and RPSGT credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Perform sleep diagnostic procedures per departmental protocol.
• Apply electrodes and sensors according to AASM standards.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate with the care team.
• Ensure PPE and patient safety compliance.
