Job summary

Mayo Clinic Sleep Disorders Center is seeking a qualified Polysomnographic Technologist to perform in-lab sleep studies, home sleep testing, and titration of PAP therapies under physician supervision.

You will score and interpret sleep data, educate patients, mentor trainees, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. BRPT certification within 2 years of eligibility is required; a 2-year commitment to the department is expected.

Qualifications

• BRPT certification through BRPT required within 2 years of eligibility date.
• Two-year commitment to the department required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and monitor polysomnography and home sleep testing (HSAT).
• Score and analyze sleep studies, including respiratory events, arousals, sleep staging, and movement disorders.
• Initiate, monitor, and titrate CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen, and implantable sleep therapies per physician orders.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic sleep procedures and educate on PAP and home testing equipment.
• Perform MSLT and MWT testing, complete reports, and maintain data integrity.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain sleep laboratory equipment.
• Support quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives while mentoring staff and students.
