Job summary

MEK MD INC is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an outpatient sleep medicine practice and sleep laboratory in Hawaii. You will collaborate with the Medical Director, clinical staff, and providers to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business/healthcare related field
• Master’s degree preferred in related field
• Minimum four years in healthcare or ambulatory operations; two years leadership
• Experience in sleep medicine or sleep lab ops preferred
• Experience with accreditation/regulatory requirements
• Experience with staffing, recruitment, scheduling, credentialing, HR processes
• Proficiency with EMR and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinical office and sleep laboratory.
• Patient records management and documentation.
• Manage communications with insurance companies, including prior authorizations for testing and DME.
• Develop and maintain clinical and administrative policies and procedures.
• Monitor operations, productivity, patient satisfaction, and KPIs; identify improvements.
• Support HR activities: staffing, onboarding, scheduling, evaluations, credentialing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (AASM, Joint Commission).
• Identify challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency and patient experience.
• Serve as liaison among Medical Director, providers, staff, patients, and external partners.
• Assist with additional administrative and operational duties as needed.
