Job summary

CommonSpirit Medical Group - Sleep Center in Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will support screenings, patient prep, vital signs, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires CMA certification upon hire, high school diploma or GED, and CPR/BLS within 30 days. Experience with electronic health records is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CMA/MA certification(s) upon hire.
• CPR/BLS within 30 days.
• Electronic health record experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights.
• Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
• Obtain and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem.
• May draw and collect blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Administer ordered medications and/or vaccines via various routes.
