Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with CMA certification options.
• Certified Medical Assistant credentials preferred on hire.
• Experience with electronic health records is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights.
• Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
• Obtain and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, allergies, and medications.
• May draw blood and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered.
