Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree; 1+ years of biomedical research with tissue culture, cell biology, PCR and microscopy techniques required.
• Experience in human research preferred (HIPAA, CITI, IRB).
• Laboratory safety compliance and supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations and safety compliance.
• Provide staff training and supervision.
• Order supplies and maintain lab equipment.
• Assist in human studies including vascular reactivity and biopsies.
• Plan, design and execute experiments including confocal microscopy and immunohistochemistry.
• Prepare grants, publications, abstracts and presentations.
