About the Role
As a Slate Strategist at Core Education, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting Slate for partner institutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging Core’s status as a Slate Preferred Partner to deliver innovative, valuable solutions. This position requires deep expertise in Slate, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage effective client relationships to drive transformation and sustainable growth for schools.
This is a full-time, remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the U.S. while collaborating with a talented, nationwide team.
What You’ll Do
Slate Strategy for Partner Institutions
- Lead the execution of customized Slate strategies that align with each institution’s enrollment, marketing, student success, and/or advancement goals.
- Assess existing Slate instances and recommend enhancements to maximize efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with institutional stakeholders to ensure Slate solutions are fully integrated with broader enrollment, student success, and advancement initiatives.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partner institutions, providing expert guidance, value, and support.
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with institutional leaders, functional users, and technical teams.
- Communicate complex Slate concepts in clear, actionable terms, ensuring partners understand the strategic value and operational impact of recommended solutions.
- Proactively identify client needs, risks, and opportunities to foster long-term partnerships built on trust and measurable outcomes.
- Maintain a professional and composed client-facing presence, ensuring partners experience seamless service in potentially ambiguous or uncertain situations – resolving complexities behind the scenes without unnecessarily discussing internal details.
- Work closely with Core’s enrollment, marketing, and technical teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams, contributing Slate expertise to ensure alignment between enrollment goals and Slate strategy.
- Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues, supporting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Contribute to internal projects, process improvements, and team ideation sessions to enhance Core’s overall service offerings.
Slate Practice Business Development
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new Slate features, and emerging best practices to inform Core’s service offerings and thought leadership.
- Support business development efforts by participating in client discovery sessions, solution design, and proposal development, as needed.
- Represent Core Education at industry events, webinars, and client meetings as a subject matter expert in Slate and enrollment strategy, as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- 3-5 years of advanced experience in Slate by Technolutions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in higher education, enrollment, student success, or advancement.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and project management skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a remote or hybrid environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Commitment to Core Education’s mission of transforming higher education through digital innovation and sustainable growth
Preferred:
- Expertise with higher education CRM platforms and Student Information Systems
- Experience with system integrations between IT platforms
- Data management skills, including reporting, segmentation, data hygiene, and record de-duping.
