As a Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing paid social media campaigns across various platforms. Reporting into the Senior Director of Social, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our paid social media efforts align with our client’s overall marketing strategy and business objectives. This role requires a data-driven individual with a deep understanding of social media advertising, strong analytical skills, and a creative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive paid social media strategies to achieve client business goals, including brand awareness, traffic, engagement, and conversion/lead generation.
  • Manage and oversee the execution of paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
  • Conduct thorough audience research and segmentation to target the right demographics and maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Create and manage budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to inform strategy adjustments and improvements.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad creatives, including copy, images, and videos.Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize ad performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and grow the paid social channel, reporting directly into the Senior Director of Social.
  • Oversee campaign management, budget management, optimizations, and anything related to reporting and analysis as well as reconciliation
  • Ensure clear communication with external teams such as client services and project management, and potentially be in front of clients

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a Social Media Advertising Strategist, Paid Campaigns Manager, or similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing paid social strategies that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Proficient in operating paid social campaigns at scale, with a deep understanding of platform nuances and best practices across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools such as Meta ad platforms, LinkedIn ad platform, Excel, Tableau, Google Analytics, and/or similar reporting dashboards and analytics platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with budget management and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience within the platforms themselves, with a foundation of understanding what it takes to build and manage campaigns day-to-day
  • Proficiency in Tableau, and Google Analytics
