Job summary

Bedrosians Tile and Stone is seeking a Slab Department Assistant to support the Slab Operations team. Responsibilities include order entry, P/O receiving, and managing live slab stock photos on the website, as well as providing product information to customers and vendors.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and a proactive approach to administrative tasks within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Phone, email and computer skills required.
• Moderate/basic Excel skills; formula creation and some automation.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management.
• Assist in inventory cycles.
• Find resolutions for inventory issues.
• Enter orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures.
• Answer phone inquiries including over-the-phone orders.
• Process dealer P/O's.
• Process P/O receiving's for incoming slab containers including uploading/editing photos and material locations.
• Understand proper shipping and receiving protocol.
• Assist outside sales with stock checks, pricing, and orders.
• Develop basic understanding of design and color.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, mailing, filing, Excel spreadsheets, laminating, and labeling.
• Follow company policies, procedures, goals, and directives.
• Other duties as required.
