Job summary

Skyline at First Hill, a Transforming Age community in Seattle, is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Skilled Nursing team and provide compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN/LPN program
• Active RN/LPN license in the state in good standing
• Experience in a Nursing Home or Long-Term Care preferred
• Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
• Knowledge of DSHS Regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Background check, drug screen, and other pre-employment screenings may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and effective care to residents
• Support the DON with assessments, admissions, and duties as assigned
• Ensure residents' comprehensive needs are met by the nursing team
• Review routines and calendar of events to meet resident needs
• Ensure medications and supplies are ordered and in stock
• Maintain accurate charting and record keeping
• Promote Skyline/Transforming Age mission, vision and values
• Support a Culture of Excellence in all responsibilities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Our Registered Nurses & Licensed Practical Nurses:

• Review routines, calendar of events and resident needs.
• Ensure medications and supplies are ordered, in stock and counted.
• Ensure all charting and record keeping is accurate and complete.

• Support our Culture of Excellence in all areas of responsibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

• Be a graduate of an accredited RN/LPN Program
• Have an active RN/LPN license in the state, in good standing
• Experience in a Nursing Home (Long-Term Care preferred, but not required)
• Have flexibility, able to work the occasional weekend/holiday as needed.
• Have knowledge of DSHS Regulations
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well and collaboratively with team members and external individuals.
• Completion of a background check, drug screen. Other pre-employment screenings may include physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

• On occasion, may need to push/pull/support up to 75 lbs.
