Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Esthetician or cosmetology license in good standing is required.
• Must possess a current Instructor license.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a practicing esthetician.
• Prior teaching experience in esthetics is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of esthetics principles and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm and a passion for educating aspiring estheticians.
• Proficiency in instructional technology and multimedia resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum.
• Provide theoretical and practical instruction in skincare, facials, waxing, makeup.
• Create an inclusive, engaging learning environment for students.
• Demonstrate proper techniques, safety practices, and industry standards.
• Supervise hands-on sessions and laboratory work with students.
• Assess progress through evaluations, examinations and projects.
• Identify learning needs and support students accordingly.
• Stay current with industry trends to keep curriculum relevant.
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom and lab environment.
• Mentor students and collaborate on program improvements.
