Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Esthetician or cosmetology license in good standing is required.
• Must possess a current Instructor license.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a practicing esthetician.
• Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of esthetics principles and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm and passion for educating estheticians.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum and objectives.
• Provide theoretical and practical instruction in skincare techniques, facials, waxing, makeup, and other esthetician procedures.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters engagement.
• Model proper techniques, safety practices, and industry standards in esthetics.
• Supervise and guide students during practical sessions and laboratory work.
• Assess student progress through evaluations, exams, and projects, with constructive feedback.
• Identify and address individual learning needs and support students.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to keep curriculum relevant.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe classroom environment.
• Mentor and inspire students as role models and professional guides.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and program improvements.
