Job summary

Milan Institute-Nampa is seeking an Esthetician Instructor to join our faculty in Plano, TX. You will design engaging lesson plans and deliver theory and hands-on instruction to aspiring estheticians, guiding their skill development and success.

The role requires teaching experience, a current instructor license, and an esthetics license. You will mentor students, assess progress, and stay current with industry trends while collaborating on curriculum enhancements and program improvements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Esthetician or cosmetology license in good standing.
Current Instructor license.
Minimum of 3 years as a practicing esthetician.
Teaching or training experience is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum and objectives.
Provide theory and practical instruction in skincare, facials, waxing, makeup, and related esthetics.
Create an inclusive learning environment fostering engagement and growth.
Demonstrate proper techniques, safety, and industry standards.
Supervise and guide students during labs and practical sessions.
Assess progress via evaluations, exams, and projects and give constructive feedback.
Stay updated with industry trends to keep curriculum current.
Collaborate on curriculum development and program enhancements.
