Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Esthetician or cosmetology license in good standing is required.
• Must possess a current Instructor license.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a practicing esthetician.
• Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of esthetics principles and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey concepts clearly.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for educating aspiring estheticians.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum and objectives.
• Provide theoretical and practical instruction in skincare techniques, facials, waxing, makeup, and other esthetician procedures.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and growth.
• Demonstrate proper techniques, safety practices, and industry standards in esthetics.
• Supervise and guide students during practical sessions and labs.
• Assess student progress through evaluations, exams, and projects and provide feedback.
• Identify and address individual learning needs and support students as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends to keep curriculum current.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and lab environment.
• Mentor students and contribute to curriculum development and program improvements.
