Qualifications

• 2+ years welding experience in fabrication environments.
• Proficient with MIG/GMAW and TIG/GTAW welding processes.
• Read blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Comfort using hand tools, grinders, clamps, measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Work well independently and as part of a team.
• Welding program or apprenticeship completed preferred; AWS certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment including MIG and TIG as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols.
• Fit and weld metal components to build fabricated assemblies.
• Use cutting, grinding, and finishing techniques to prepare parts.
• Inspect welds and finished components to ensure quality requirements.
• Maintain and clean welding equipment and your work area.
• Collaborate with fitters, assemblers, and production teammates to meet deadlines.
• Identify quality issues, material shortages, or equipment concerns and communicate them.
