Dane Manufacturing in Waunakee, WI is seeking an Assembler/Finisher to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble fabricated metal components and apply finishing touches to ensure quality before products move to the next step.

We value hands-on workers who read blueprints, follow instructions precisely, and take pride in producing high-quality parts. This role offers a 4-10 schedule (Mon–Thu) on day shift and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Experience grinding, sanding, deburring, or polishing.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal components per instructions.
• Grind, sand, deburr, and polish parts.
• Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, riveters, and other finishing equipment.
• Measure parts with calipers and tape measures.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and fit.
• Prepare surfaces for painting or coating.
• Identify defective materials or issues and report them.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
