San Antonio Shoemakers (SAS), a longtime Texas manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Welder. This full-time role focuses on welding and fabricating metal components for equipment and parts used in production.

Responsibilities include designing fixtures, preparing surfaces, and operating welding equipment per drawings and specs. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of welding experience; certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and blueprint reading required.
• Welding symbols and blueprint reading knowledge preferred.
• Experience with welding dies or equipment used in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and joining metal parts for fabricating or repairing equipment.
• Designing and fabricating parts per specs using drawings and calculators.
• Installing or removing special equipment like grinders and power tools.
