Job summary

Smeal Apparatus is seeking an experienced welder to join our manufacturing team. You will perform metal arc welding of ladder components, torque box, and related parts, building from blueprints and using plasma cutters, torches, grinders, and cranes.

The role requires a certified welder with the ability to read tape measures, follow standards, and work in a noisy shop environment. Overtime may be required, and safety PPE must be worn at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified welder and able to read blueprints.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and work in a noisy welding shop.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies, wear PPE.
• Possess extensive experience in welding shop tasks.
