Qualifications

• 1–3 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Welds and fabricates parts according to layout marks.
• Selects torch components and flux per specs, and lights torch.
• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments.
• Repairs or builds up metal parts; removes burrs and spatter.
• Operates machines and observes for defects.
