Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Welds parts in jigs or fixtures according to layout marks.
• selects torch, tip, filler rod, and flux per welding chart or metal type.
• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material needs.
• Measures workpiece dimensions to ensure accuracy of operation.
• Safely sets up and operates welding machines and related equipment.
• Inspects welds for bead size and quality against specs.
