Job summary

Czarnowski Collective in Vermont is seeking a Welder with experience in aluminum, steel, and stainless steel to join our metal shop. You will read blueprints and fabricate from start to finish to support tradeshow displays for clients.

This is a full-time role with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime during peak season. A minimum of three years in a metal shop is required, along with basic tools and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience working in a metal shop.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience with aluminum, steel, and stainless steel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weld aluminum and steel using MIG welder.
• Basic machining and fabrication tasks.
• Read blueprints or other instructions to determine fabrication and welding sequence.
• Create cut lists and track materials used.
• Operate machinery safely and report hazards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Ensure high-quality output and monitor own work.
• Demonstrate time management to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Comply with safety guidelines and company policies.
