Job summary

Furmano Foods is seeking a floater laborer for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM-11:00 PM) at our Northumberland facility. The role involves rotating through pouch line duties, unloading beans, prepping ingredients, and operating a forklift.

You must follow GMPs, complete annual training, and maintain accurate daily documentation. Ideal candidates are adaptable, accurate, capable of effective communication with supervisors and co-workers, and able to read MMFs and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must be adaptable.
• Must be Accurate.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, Line Techs, Lab Techs and other operators.
• Must be able to read all MMFs, SOPs, and other work instructions.
• Must be able to complete daily documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Unload Beans, cut pork, dump beans, fill in any position on pouch line, operator blender as assigned.
• Learn additional production jobs and fill in as needed.
• Scan all raw material using Assistics software.
• Operate a forklift.
• Follow all GMP’s associated with this position.
• Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by actions, communicating and helping co-workers.
• Must complete required annual Training and required annual challenge testing.
• Other jobs as assigned by supervisor.
