Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County invites applications for a Youth Coordinator to engage youth ages 5–18 and guide them through construction career activities at the McKenzie Regional Workforce Center and partner sites.

As a team member in Workforce Development, you will plan, supervise, and evaluate hands-on programs, coordinate with schools, and help ensure safe, inclusive environments for participants and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering curriculum to youth ages 5-18.
• Ability to work with youth and adolescents in many settings.
• Experience in construction environment or career program is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish speakers encouraged to apply.
• Flexible, adaptable, team-oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run engaging activities for youth 5-13, using Build UP! and program curricula.
• Track eligibility and maintain attendance.
• Coordinate cohort activities and manage classroom setup.
• Travel between Club sites and McKenzie Center as needed.
• Support grant-funded programs and data entry in MyClubHub.
• Recruit and enroll members into workforce programs.
• Assist with facility rentals and event support.
• Ensure safety and maintain a positive environment for volunteers.
