Job summary

Thai Summit America seeks a TPM Coordinator to coordinate and monitor Total Productive Maintenance activities across Manufacturing Departments, including Kaizen and Autonomous Maintenance. You will train teams, audit TPM activities, and support action plans for TPM development.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in maintenance with leadership, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours and overtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and develop the TPM Program with all Manufacturing Departments.
  • Train, coach, and promote TPM to teams.
  • Audit line/area TPM activities and support the Staff.
  • Assist Manager and Team Leaders in preparing detailed action plans for TPM development.
  • Support Kaizen improvement activities within Manufacturing Departments.
  • Develop and modify TPM worksheets/documents used in the TPM Program.
  • Assist on the shop floor to strengthen TPM efforts.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report TPM measurables (labor and costs).
  • Develop Autonomous Maintenance standards.
  • Conduct Kaizen training and coordinate Kaizen implementation.
  • Lead TPM Program and Lean activities across Manufacturing.
  • Promote TPM activities with Safety Program initiatives.

Job description

Primary Job Function: Coordinate, and monitor Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities for Manufacturing Departments, including Focused Improvements (Kaizen) and Autonomous Maintenance (A.M.). Support and accomplish any and all work assignments as directed by the TPM Facilitator and Management Staff.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Coordinate and develop the TPM Program with all Manufacturing Departments.
  • Train, coach, and promote TPM to teams.
  • Audit line/area TPM activities and support the Staff.
  • Assist Manager and Team Leaders in preparing detailed action plans for the development of TPM in their area.
  • Support Kaizen improvement activities within Manufacturing Departments.
  • Develop and modify TPM work sheets/documents used in the TPM Program.
  • Assist/support Team Leaders on the shop floor to strengthen TPM efforts.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report-out TPM measurables including labor and other costs savings and losses related to TPM.
  • Develop Autonomous Maintenance standards.
  • Conduct Kaizen training and coordinate Kaizen implementation.
  • Lead Manufacturing TPM Program and Lean (waste elimination) activities.
  • Promote TPM activities with Safety Program initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Maintenance activities with demonstrated Leadership abilities.
  • Organizational and communications skills.
  • Excellent work performance history.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to plan, activate and resolve new tooling construction, as well as production, new tooling try-out and trouble-shooting concerns.
