Job summary

Snow & Company Inc. in Seattle seeks a Recruiting Specialist to partner with the Talent Acquisition & Engagement Manager to recruit and retain skilled tradespeople for shipyard operations, focusing on welders, fabricators, shipfitters, pipefitters, laborers and related trades.

The role requires experience in manufacturing or shipyard recruiting, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience recruiting for manufacturing, shipyard, or heavy construction preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
• Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ATS and candidate sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Source and screen candidates for production and skilled trades roles.
• Post and maintain job openings across relevant platforms.
• Manage assigned requisitions in ADP Workforce Now.
• Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interview scheduling.
• Build candidate pipelines through job boards, trade schools, and referrals.
• Support with employer branding, job fairs, and networking events.
• Communicate with candidates to ensure a positive interview experience.
• Assist with onboarding coordination and new hire paperwork.
• Track recruiting metrics and report results.
