Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in commercial or institutional painting or completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training program.
• Valid South Carolina Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
• Apply finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Match colors and finishes to existing surfaces.
• Paint classrooms, offices, hallways, gymnasiums, and district properties.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and records of work performed.
