Job summary

TIC_Craft is seeking a skilled professional to perform erection and dismantling of scaffolding, operate heavy equipment, and manage rigging and other construction tasks. The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating with supervision, and maintaining safety on site.

Responsibilities include erecting scaffolding for buildings, constructing wooden scaffolds, and inspecting work for compliance with plans and specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with previous field experience.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials.
• Identify tools required for tasks and measure, mark, and cut required materials.
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding and install ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
• Construct, reinforce, and dismantle pre-constructed scaffolds.
• Build and construct wooden scaffolds and auxiliary items.
• Rig equipment loads as needed.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, times, costs, resources, and materials for activities.
• Inspect subordinates' work for compliance and take corrective actions as needed.
