Job summary
Loving Family Animal Hospital, located in Aurora, Colorado, is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team for outpatient and procedural support including surgery and dentistry. The ideal candidate is versatile, client-focused, and able to balance exam room care with hands-on procedures in a busy general practice.
We offer a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule, Monday–Friday plus rotating Saturdays 9a–1p once a month.
Qualifications
- 4+ years veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience.
- Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in Colorado.
- Proficiency in anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery; surgical aseptic technique; dental prophylaxis and radiography.
Responsibilities
- Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
- Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
- Assist in surgery.
- Perform dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography.
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
- Discuss treatment plans and discharge instructions clearly with clients.
- Identify patient concerns and support hospital-wide case management.
- Educate clients and build strong client relationships.
