Job summary
SouthPark Animal Clinic in Littleton, Colorado is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to support outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. The role requires flexibility to move between exam rooms and procedures while delivering compassionate care and clear client communication.
We offer a full-time schedule (4/10) with Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and rotating Saturday, with a pay range of $27-$30 per hour.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of veterinary technician experience.
- Active and good-standing Colorado RVT license.
- Proficiency in anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery; surgical assistance; dental prophylaxis and radiography; venipuncture and IV catheter placement; medication administration; laboratory testing; medical records; client education.
Responsibilities
- Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
- Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
- Assist in surgery and dental procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
- Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients clearly.
- Identify patient concerns and support case management across hospital.
- Build strong client relationships through education and communication.
