Job summary

SouthPark Animal Clinic in Littleton, Colorado is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to support outpatient care and surgical/dental procedures. The role emphasizes clinical knowledge, effective client communication, and teamwork in a busy general practice.

This full-time position offers a 4/10 schedule with Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and rotating Saturdays, compensation of $27–$30 per hour, and a benefits package including health, 401k, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician license in Colorado.
• Proficiency in anesthesia induction, monitoring, recovery; surgical assistance; dental prophylaxis and radiography; venipuncture and IV placement; medication administration and precise drug calculations; in-house diagnostics and accurate medical records.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Assist in surgery.
• Perform dental procedures including prophylaxis and radiography.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients clearly.
• Identify patient concerns and support case management across the hospital.
• Build strong client relationships through education and attentive service.
