Job summary

Fitch Irick Corporation in Ladson, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance of our affordable housing properties. You will respond to requests, perform turnovers, and keep grounds, building exteriors, and common areas in good repair.

This non-exempt, full-time role requires 2–3 years of property maintenance experience, the ability to lift heavy loads, and commitment to safety. Valid driver’s license is preferred; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years property maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift 100+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must pass background check and provide references.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, and maintain property grounds, buildings and amenities.
• Schedule and complete all preventative maintenance programs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete unit turnovers.
• Ensure safe operations and compliance with OSHA and company policies.
